This constitutes our legitimate interest in data processing in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. In connection with the hotel reservation platform on www.interlaken-congress.ch, only surnames and first names are normally sent to the partner for a specific purpose. The remaining data will be kept in our system and will not be used for any other purposes.

3.a. We use services from third parties – also based abroad including the United States of America (USA) – in order to be able to provide our services in an effective and user-friendly way as well as permanently, securely and reliably. Such services – including hosting and storage services – require your Internet Protocol (IP) address, otherwise the relevant content cannot be delivered or made available. Such services – using cookies, log files and tracking pixels etc. – also process further data in connection with our offer and related to information from other sources for their statistical and technical purposes.

3.b. We use CMSBOX to host our website. CMSBOX is a service of the Swiss CMSBOX GmbH and is subject to Swiss data protection law, so that adequate data protection is guaranteed. CMSBOX uses the free open source software Matomo (formerly Piwik) to ensure the hosting of our website on a permanent, secure and reliable basis, especially by analysing the usage with regard to troubleshooting and improvements. 3.c. We use Google Analytics to analyse how users use our site, and we make the IP addresses we collect anonymous before analysing them. Cookies are used by Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is a service of the American Google LLC. We require this service to provide our services, including our website, in an effective and user-friendly manner and on a permanent, secure and reliable basis, in particular by analysing usage, including measuring success and reach, with a view to troubleshooting and improvement.

3.d. This website uses fonts.com, a font service provided by Monotype GmbH, Werner-Reimers-Straße 2-4, 61352 Bad Homburg, Germany ("fonts.com"). Whenever this website is accessed, files are loaded from a "font.com" server to display the texts in a certain font. Your IP address may be transmitted to a server of "fonts.com" and stored in the context of the usual weblogs. The further processing is incumbent on fonts.com.
