Hiking above the mighty Aletsch Glacier is an experience no participant is likely to forget – surrounded by the most famous 4,000 meter peaks of the Bernese and Valais Alps, past awe-inspiring crevasses and a breathtaking view of the high alpine glacier scenery. We’ll be visiting the highest vantage point on the Jungfraujoch, the “Sphinx”, the Ice Palace with its ice sculptures, the glacier plateau and the “Alpine Sensation” tour, which provides a detailed history of the impressive design and construction, including musical accompaniment. During the tour, you will learn all about the construction, maintenance and various purposes served by the Jungfraujoch.
